Ajith Kumar is currently traveling Europe as part of his world bike tour crossing countries like Germany, Denmark, and Norway, with pictures shared by his wife Shalini Ajith on Instagram taking social media by storm last week. The leading Tamil actor kicked off 2023 in grand style with the blockbuster success of Thunivu, while the title of his next big film, VidaaMuyarchi, under the prestigious Lyca Productions banner was announced on his birthday on May 1. With massive excitement surrounding Ajith's VidaaMuyarchi, there has been considerable debate about when the film will go on floors and popular Tamil producer-distributor G. Dhananjeyan has now shared a few important updates in an exclusive interview with Galatta.
Speaking about when Ajith's VidaaMuyarchi will roll into production, producer Dhananjeyan stated, "The update I have received is that the shooting will definitely begin in September. And, the planning is currently underway. The pre-production planning is going on. As of now, the plan is to begin shooting in September. When I asked my friends at Lyca Productions, they clearly stated that filming will begin this September. And, it will be carried forward non-stop without any breaks in between. So, the plan is to wrap up the production in January and bring the film out in theatres in April 2024. This is what they have planned for now. All this talk about when the shooting will begin will stop once the team begins filming. After that, the talk will move on to how VidaaMuyarchi is progressing."
VidaaMuyarchi was first officially announced by Lyca Productions under the tentative title AK 62 in early 2022 with filmmaker Vignesh Shivan as the director and 'Rockstar' Anirudh Ravichander composing music. With filmmaker Magizh Thirumeni since then coming on board to take charge of the upcoming project as the director, fans will be waiting eagerly for filming to begin and witness Ajith in action on the big screen next year.
