This is the third outing from the sensational duo and this one is expected to showcase Ajith Kumar in a completely different dimension. If reports are to be believed, the film will feature Ajith Kumar in a grey shaded character and an exciting treat awaits fans. The Bangkok schedule of Thunivu has been wrapped up and the team is said to be elated with the way the shots have come out.

Ajith Kumar, Manju Warrier, and others left for Thailand last month for the shoot of Thunivu and the schedule has now come to an end. Some important sequences of the film were shot in this schedule, featuring Ajith, Manju Warrier, and others. With the Bangkok schedule getting wrapped, the team has returned to Chennai and details regarding further schedules are awaited. It is also being speculated that the film is likely to hit the screens for the festive occasion of Pongal in January 2023. If that is the case, Thunivu will have a historical clash with Thalapathy Vijay's Varisu.

However, the trade might not be okay with this development as both the films individually have the potential to rake money at the box office, and so would want both the films to release on different occasions. Thunivu is produced by Boney Kapoor under the banner of Bayview Projects LLP in association with Zee Studios and the film has music composed by Ghibran.
