Actor Ajith Kumar and Shalini are easily one of the most popular pairs in Tamil cinema. Shalini and Ajith celebrated her birthday earlier on Sunday (November 20). They posed for pictures with their daughter Anoushka and son Aadvik as the family stood before two massive birthday cakes which Shalini eventually cut later. The pictures of the couple from this moment have surfaced on various social media handles and are currently trending after being shared numerous times by their fans. 

In one of the pictures, Ajith can be seen standing next to his wife Shalini, who is seated. Shalini and Ajith posed with their children for a family photo, which also gave a glimpse of her two birthday cakes. Ajith and Shalini fell in love while working together on their first Tamil film - the 1999 romantic action film titled Amarkalam. They married a year later in 2000. 

Meanwhile, Ajith recently completed a bike tour where he rode through Kargil, Leh, Ladakh, Jammu, Srinagar, Manali, Rishikesh, and Haridwar among other places. He was joined by actress Manju Warrier who will be seen as the female lead in this upcoming film Thunivu directed by H. Vinoth and produced by Boney Kapoor under the banners of Bayview Projects LLP and Zee Studios. The pair flew to Bangkok post the bike tour to complete the reminder portion of his upcoming film. Thunivu is gearing up for a grand theatrical release on 2023 during the festival of Pongal. 

Thunivu will mark the third consecutive collaboration between actor Ajith Kumar, director H. Vinoth and producer Boney Kapoor after having previously joined forces for the 2019 courtroom drama Nerkonda Parvai and Valimai which released earlier this year in February. After the release of Thunivu, Ajith will start working on his next film under the direction of Vignesh Shivan which has been tentatively titled AK62. The film's music which will be composed by Anirudh Ravichander, will be bankrolled by Lyca Productions.
