She then said she was asked in a recent interview about the kind of role she wishes to do in Telugu cinema and she replied that she liked the Telugu film ministry a lot and that she will certainly Telugu films if she got roles that were to her liking. “To cite an example, I said I liked the character of Srivalli in Pushpa a lot as I felt that such character would suit me. However unfortunately, my statement seems to have been misconstructed and is being reported in such a fashion to give an impression that I was disparaging the fantastic work of actress Rashmika Mandanna in the film”.
