Aindrita in Manasare

Aindrita Ray (also spelt as Andrita Ray) debuted with the role of a college girl in Meravanige and the film gave her a girl-next-door image. But this model-turned-actress has become�hot property�in Sandalwood with one glamour song in Junglee.

The rain song in Junglee in which Aindrita daringly transforms into a glamour goddess has made the actress the talk of the town. Moreover, offers are pouring from all quarters. There�were rumours that she would be seen in Upendra’s Rajini but she reportedly refused and Aarti Chabria was selected in her place.

Many were�surprised that Aindrita rejected the offer to act with Uppi. But she clarified that she had date problems which forced her to decline. “I was committed to Yograj Bhat’s Manasare when the Rajini offer came to me. I’d have loved to do it, but I can’t juggle two films at the same time. Yograj Bhat is my favorite director. And working with him is top priority. He’s one of the best directors we have,” she said.

Manasare wil be produced by Rockline Venkatesh, the producer of Junglee. Aindrita is full of praise for him, saying, “Rockline is a thorough professional. There are no hassles, no payment issues and the comfort level on the sets is amazing. Especially when it comes to payment, you don’t have to make umpteen calls to receive it. It promptly comes home.”

Aindrita has the meaty role of a mentally-challenged girl in Manasare and she is very happy�with this�different role after Junglee.
