Actress Madhubala shot to the limelight in the early ‘90s in Mani Ratnam’s iconic National Award-winning film, Roja, and went to be then seen in prominent Tamil films namely Azhagan, Gentleman, Mr. Romeo and a few others. She then took a brief hiatus before returning to Tamil cinema in 2014 in the rom-com, Vaayai Moodi Pesavum, starring Dulquer Salmaan and Nazriya Nazim. That said, she is all set to be seen in yet another power-packed role and this time as the antagonist in the upcoming Tamil political crime thriller, Agni Dev with Bobby Simha playing the male lead alongside Sathish, MS Bhaskar, Remya Nambeesan among others under JPR and Sham Surya’s direction.
Produced under the Seantoa Studios and Jai Film Productions banner with music by Jakes Bejoy, the film is an adaptation of acclaimed crime novelist Rajesh Kumar with its trailer now released, which can be viewed below:
