One cannot easily forget the name Aditi Balan, who made a striking debut in 2017 with the highly acclaimed film, Aruvi that was a critical and commercial success. It fetched her quite a lot of appreciations, honours and awards for her intense performance as Aruvi.

Ever since the release, the Kollywood audience has been eagerly waiting to know her next film, and after a gap of more than a year, her second film details are out.


However, it wouldn't be a Tamil film, but a Malayalam one and the names involved in this project is colossal. Legendary cinematographer Santosh Sivan is directing this venture, which marks his directorial return to Mollywood after a gap of 7 years. Titled as Jack and Jill, this film has Manju Warrier and Kalidas Jayaram in the lead roles. Aditi Balan is also said to play one of the leads in this film that will have vital scope for her to emote as a performer.  It can be recalled that Aditi posted a picture of her and her mother posing with actress Manju Warrier. 


This thriller film also has an ensemble star cast that includes Soubin Shahir, Aju Varghese, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Nedumudi Venu, Ramesh Pisharody, and others. After setting a right debut in Kollywood, looks like it is time for Aditi to make a mark in Malayalam film industry. Stay tuned for more updates.
