Pooja Hegde is one of the most prominent and leading actresses in South Indian cinema and she is quite a busy actor as well. The star actress, who enjoys a wide fan base across the country, has injured herself recently and she took to her official Instagram page to share the news with her fans and well wishers. Pooja Hegde has suffered a ligament teaar and has been advised rest at home for a few days. She shared a picture of her injured foot and wrote, "Ohkayyyy then! Ligament tear". Details regarding the injury are yet to be known.

Pooja Hegde's last release in Tamil was the Thalapathy Vijay starrer Beast, directed by Nelson Dilipkumar. Pooja Hegde's next release will be the Hindi film, Cirkus which has got high expectations among the fans. Cirkus stars Ranveer Singh in the lead role and it is directed by Rohit Shetty.

Produced by Reliance Entertainment in association with T Series, the film has music composed by Devi Sri Prasad and Tanishk Bagchi. Pooja Hegde will also be playing the female lead in the upcoming Mahesh Babu starrer SSMB 28 directed by blockbuster filmmaker Trivikram Srinivas. After the humongous success of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, director Trivikram and Pooja are reuniting again for the Mahesh Babu starrer and an exciting treat awaits fans.
