Actress Gabrella and Poovaiyar join AR Rahman song Moopilla Thamizhe Thaaye

Legendary composer A.R.Rahman launched a new initiative called maajja, a campaign to elevate South Indian Independent music to a global level. The official motto of maajja initiative stated, "the mission is to amplify the voice of South Asian independent artists globally. maajja will enable artists with direct access to support resources and monetization opportunities within a vetted ecosystem. As the maiden initiative, maajja is launching YAALL - a premier global music festival in Chennai. YAALL will bring together independent artists of South Asian origin from around the world to create a cultural renaissance in Chennai for independent music.".

The first song from the maajja initiative was 'Enjoy Enjaami', which turned out to be a sensational chartbuster. The song, which was composed by Santhosh Narayanan, has crossed over 182 Million Views and the song received an overwhelming reception from the music lovers across the world. Even the ones who did not understand loved the song for its music and the way the song was shot. Following the huge success of 'Enjoy Enjaami', the next song from maajja seems to be getting ready and the fans will get to listen to it very soon. This song will be from A.R.Rahman himself and the song shoot is said to be progressing at a brisk pace.

Rahman shared a selfie picture with budding Tamil actress, Gabrella Sellus and updated that the actress is a part of the song. The new upcoming song is titled 'Moopilla Thamizhe Thaaye' and this song is composed and crooned by A.R.Rahman. The lyrics is penned by Thamarai. Super Singer sensation Poovaiyar is also expected to have lent his voice for this song as Rahman posted a selfie picture with him, as well. This update from Rahman has excited the fans and it has made them look forward to the full song.
