After the critically acclaimed hit films Jai Bhim and Soorarai Pottru, actor Suriya’s next project is Kanguva. It has created a huge excitement among fans and movie buffs and is directed by Siruthai Siva. Now, the production house bankrolling the film, Studio Green, has shared an update. They have revealed that the long awaited glimpse of the film will be released on July 23rd, in celebration of actor Suriya's birthday. The announcement poster also has the words "The Man, The Wild, and the Story". They have shared it with the caption, "Each scar carries a story!"(sic) The poster shows an arm of a man with markings like a warrior and he is also holding a sword.

Actor Suriya is celebrating his 48th birthday on July 23, and now, the makers have revealed that a teaser from Kanguva is to be launched on that day. Fans have been eager to know the look of actor Suriya in the upcoming project, and this announcement poster also features a small glimpse of the actor's look for the film. It is bankrolled by K.E. Gnanavel Raja under the banner Studio Green with UV Creations. It is touted to be a period film that will be released in 10 languages in 3D format.
Actor Suriya is set to share screen space with Bollywood actress Disha Patani, who will be making her Tamil debut in the film, and reportedly, popular actor Yogi Babu will also play an important role in Kanguva. The film will also have music composed by Devi Sri Prasad. Fans are eagerly waiting for the grand theatrical release of the film which will be the next project of director Siruthai Siva after Annaatthe with 'Superstar' Rajinikanth. The makers are planning to release the film early in 2024, and the shooting is happening in full swing.
