Popular film and television actor A.C. Murali Mohan committed suicide in his home at Purasaivakkam. The reason for his taking such a drastic step is unknown
Fondly called as Horlicks Mama, Murali has been a part of over 350 films in his career. Murali Mohan went on to become one of the leading actors in the years 1974 to 1977. He also started a production company along with his brother. Their first production venture was Varala Abbayi directed by K. Balachander. Today, A.C. Murali Mohan is one of the notable actors in small screen as well as in films.
