Director turned Actor Selvaraghavan gets candid and discusses his and his brother Dhanush's acting styles in an Interview with National Award-winning film critic Baradwaj Rangan, the Editor-in-Chief of Galatta Plus. The director-actor of Selvaraghavan and Dhanush created a buzz and got a cult following from their debut film Thulluvadho Ilamai. The combo continued to give five impressive films including Kaadhal Kondein, Pudhupettai, Mayakam Enna and Naane Varuvaen being the latest. Each film set an higher expectations among fans and broke it. Both of them are known for choosing unexpected and exciting plots in the career. Dhanush and Selvaraghavan continued to create a buzz this weekend as Dhanush’s Vaathi and Selvaraghavan’s Bakasuran were releases on the same day, clashing in theatres.

In the recent interview ahead of Bakasuran release, The talented director shared his experienced in the film industry. When Baradwaj Rangan questioned if he thinks his acting acting style resembles Dhanush’s acting, Selvaraghavan said they have worked together for a long time so there could be minor similarities in acting. "Dhanush has many a time acted my thoughts to life, so viewers might find it similar",, in his reply and added that he does not fret about it.
When asked if Selvaraghavan and Dhanush have had discussion about his acting at any point of time, the director replied candidly that their conversations are usually very basic like discussions plans for the night, what’s they had for dinner, etc. He also revealed that from the first they were particular that “He stays in his way and I stay in mine and so we did not have many deep conversations".
