The curtains drew to a close on Bigg Boss Tamil season 4 on Sunday evening in a grand event, which saw actor Aari Arujunan being declared as the title winner of the edition. The gala event, which saw 'Ulaganayagan' Kamal Haasan declaring Aari as the Bigg Boss 4 winner, went on to be telecast and streamed for nearly six hours from evening 6PM on Vijay TV and Hotstar. Aari's win continues to be celebrated on social media, with the star since seen taking part in the success meet event, which saw the contestants from the recent edition, including participants from Bigg Boss Tamil season 3 as well taking part. 

Post his Bigg Boss 4 title win, Aari has now released his first video on his Twitter page in which he goes on to extend his gratitude for making him triumphant this season. Dedicating his success to the fans, Aari says in the video, "The win I have gotten in the Bigg Boss house isn't mine - it is your victory. It is an achievement for the working class and the working society. I will meet you all this week on my official Twitter page. All my fame and recognition is for you." Earlier, Aari had posted a picture of himself with the Bigg Boss Tamil season 4 trophy on his Instagram page, which as well has gone viral on social media, with fans continuing to pour in their wishes. 

The Bigg Boss Tamil 4 win has turned out to be a big breakthrough for Aari as his actions on the show over the course of his 105-day stay garnered him a huge fan following among the households across Tamil Nadu, with praises being showered upon him for his honest and straightforward gameplay. Many fans on social media prior to the Bigg Boss 4 finale had predicted Aari to emerge as the title winner despite facing tough competition from the other contestants namely Balaji Murugadoss, Rio Raj, Sanam Shetty, Suresh Chakravarthy, Anitha Sampath, Gabriella, Aranthangi Nisha, Jithan Ramesh, Vel Murugan, Rekha, Ramya Pandian, Shivani Narayanan, Som Shekar, and Samyuktha Karthik, including coming on top over the 2 wildcard entrants Archana and Suchitra. 

Aari will next be looking to resume his film projects after the Bigg Boss 4 title win as he has in his lineup ventures namely Ellam Mela Irukuravan Paathupan, followed by Aleka opposite Bigg Boss Tamil season 2 fame Aishwarya Dutta, including the recently-announced Bagavan, which has been billed to be Tamil cinema's first Illuminati movie.
