Aapan Maati, Aapan Desh on Indo-Pak war

Aapan Maati, Aapan Desh would be one of Bhojpuri's first films on Indo-Pak relations. Though Bollywood has produced many films of Indo-Pak tensions, only recently is�the Bhojpuri industry trying its hand in this genre. Aapan Maati, Aapan Desh (which means, 'Our soil, Our country') will deal with Indo-Pak war and its effects on the characters who come under its shadow. Ravi Kishan and Sweety Chabra play the lead roles. Produced by Jai Kishan and Ashish Kedia and directed by I.M. Raj, the movie is on the verge of release as the post-production work is already underway.

Commenting on the subject, Bhojpuri superstar Ravi Kishan said, “Earlier I had worked in Hindi film 1972 which was on a similar subject. This one also seems to be nice and I'm sure everyone would like this kind of film.”
