A documentary is all set to be made on the life of the legendary screenwriter, lyricist and producer Panchu Arunachalam. In a career spanning 47 years, he has written 45 films stories, screenplay and dialogue for 90 films, 300 film songs, produced 45 films, directed 4 films and distributed over 400 films. He is the man behind the mass image of Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan, apart from introducing maestro Ilaiyaraaja to the world.
Titled A Creator with Midas Touch, the documentary is produced by Thiru Arul Productions and directed by G Dhananjayan. It will portray the life of the writer, his creativity and love for cinema. Many top celebrities including Rajinikanth have shared their experience on Panchu. The technical crew includes cinematography by Sudharsan Srinivasan, editing by JS Vignesh and music by Shamanth. The documentary will be screened as a television series and will also have a theatrical screening later this year.
