Academy Award-winning composer A. R. Rahman is riding the wave these days as the music director is the king of social media with his witty and sharp replies. The hit composer recently performed in Pune where his concert was stopped midway by the police as he and his team of performers had gone past the permissible time of 10 p.m. On April 30, A. R. Rahman had been performing his last song, 'Chaiyya Chaiyya' from Dil Se, when a police officer walked up to the stage and asked the group to wrap up their concert since they had crossed the permitted time limit. Taking to social media, the composer posted a small glimpse of the concert, which also showed the incident taking place on the stage, which he called a "Rockstar" moment.

Posting the video on Twitter, A. R. Rahman wrote, "Did we all just have the “Rockstar” moment on stage yesterday? I think we did! We were overwhelmed by the love of the audience and kept wanting to give more. Pune, thank you once again for such a memorable evening. Here’s a little snippet of our roller coaster ride ;) (sic)." Furthermore, the video read, "By the way, we had a rockstar moment too ;)", with the footage then showing the police walking on to the stage. A. R. Rahman is then seen telling the fans assembled at the concert, "I think we went overboard with love and overboard time. That's it. Timing is over. I like this." Thanking the fans, the organizers and his band, the music director went on to express his happiness and said that they will meet them once again soon. A. R. A. R. Rahman is on cloud nine these days after the response to his work in Mani Ratnam's Ponniyin Selvan: 2, which took a sensational opening in theatres worldwide. As for his upcoming film lineup, he is composing music for Tamil films like Udhayanidhi Stalin's Maamannan, Sivakarthikeyan's Ayalaan, Aishwarya Rajinikanth's Lal Salaam, Prithviraj Sukumaran's Aadujeevitham in Malayalam, Raja Krishna Menon's Pippa and Ajay Devgn's Maidaan.
