The 68th National Film Awards were announced at the National Media Centre in New Delhi for films from 2020 on Friday, July 22. Among the major highlights of the 2020 National Film Awards organized by the Directorate of Film Festivals, Tamil films like Soorarai Pottru, Mandela, and Sivaranjiniyum Innum Sila Pengalum collectively won the most number of awards - a total of 10 accolades. The awards were announced by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting after recognizing the work of talented actors and technicians from across the country.
