In a shocking incident that has come to light, a 6-month-old baby that passed away in Gujarat, was abandoned by its parents! The baby girl had been brought to the Government Civil Hospital in Ahmedabad by her parents, on Monday. The baby was identified with illness not related to COVID-19 Corona Virus and was admitted to the hospital and given treatment. However, unfortunately the child died on Tuesday, without responding to treatment. On knowing of the baby's death, her parents immediately absconded from the place and were untraceable by the hospital authorities. Not able to find them, the hospital authorities immediately contacted the Naroda region Police.

The Police identified the missing parents as Bharat Damor and his wife and that they are still missing. The region's DCP also wondered as to how the couple could have reached Dungarpur, as the borders had been sealed. The body of the baby girl has currently been kept in cold storage at the hospital's mortuary. The hospital authorities are making preparations for the body's cremation. It is indeed sad that the parents abandoned their little girl and it is not sure if this was due to ignorance or a deliberate decision on their part. Stay tuned for updates...
