Dookudu producer Anil Sunkara's debut directorial venture Action, a 3D film starring Allari Naresh, Shyam (Kick fame), Vaibhav and Raju Sundaram in the lead, was launched on March 23 in Chennai.
Director Srinu Vaitla sounded the clapper board for the first scene while noted producer A.M. Ratnam switched on the camera, while Kodandarami Reddy directed the first scene. Tamil Nadu Governor Konijeti Rosaiah and Tamil actor STR (Simbu) were the chief guests.
The film is made with Rs. 15 crores in Telugu and Tamil simultaneously and will be shot in Hyderabad, Goa, Chennai, Bangkok and Finland. Sneha Ullal, Vimala Raman and Kamna Jethmalani are the heroines. Sunkara Ramabrahman is the producer. Music is by S.S. Thaman.
