Explaining how the FEFDY curriculum is different, Dr. Vimala Rani states, "The syllabi around the world are mostly categorized according to the age groups of the children. A seven-year-old child will need to know Math, Science, and English, and so on. The manner in which they are taught is where the curriculum differs. For example, a six-year-old child will need to know the basics of mathematics like addition, and subtraction, and all these levels will be categorized for all the subjects. Where the curriculum matters a lot, however, is in the manner in which they are taught and how they apply what they understand from what they learn. Human nature is as such." She continued, "Observing, listening, speaking, and after that, we gave it a form by creating it. When you're learning, the form is presented at first and when you reverse the process, it always has its own set of difficulties. But, when you give a pictorial representation, it'll get imprinted deep in your mind. And then, it comes to listening, and this is the order of learning. Over the last 10 years, there has been significant growth and the methodology of the FEFDY curriculum has been created along the lines of children speaking in their homes. And, that is why I planned the curriculum and written pattern like that."
