It is widely speculated that Thalapathy Vijay will be teaming up with AR Murugadoss for his 65th film, this news has been doing rounds for quite a while. No official confirmation from the team has been yet but no one has denied it as well. This 65th film of Vijay is likely to be produced by Sun Pictures who had earlier worked with Vijay for Sarkar. Rumours also add that this project will be the sequel to 2012 blockbuster flick Thuppakki which is still rated as one of Vijay’s best.  
 
Thuppakki was produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu under his banner V Creations. If at all, Vijay and AR Murugadoss are planning to make a sequel to Thuppakki, they must acquire the title rights from Thanu. Unless Thanu gives a NOC to use his film title, Sun Pictures cannot use the title. Thanu is a very good friend of Vijay and he must have no issues in giving away the title but if at all he refuses, the makers might have to tweak the title a little like how Singam 3 became S3 and Enthiran 2 became 2.0.
