Vishal is right now busy with the final leg shooting of his next action thriller, Chakra, directed by debutant M.S.Anandan, a former associate of director S Ezhil. This film features Shraddha Srinath as the female lead and Regina Cassandra in an important role. The film has music scored by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Both Vishal and Shraddha will be seen as Police officers in this film. The makers have now officially released a new press statement in which the details about the film’s premise has been revealed.

Chakra’s story will revolve around the online scams (e-buy related) that widely happen in this digital era, thereby bringing an awareness among the people. Produced by Vishal Film Factory, Chakra’s star cast also includes Robo Shankar, K.R.Vijaya, Srushti Dange, Manobala, and others. The film has cinematography by Balasubramaniem, editing by Sameer Mohammad, stunt choreography by Anl Arasu, and art direction by S Kannan.

Touted to be an action thriller that will appeal to all kinds of audience, Chakra is scheduled to hit the screens on May 1, as a summer treat.
