Vijay Sethupathi's plans in Thalapathy 64 revealed - check it out!

A film that has created massive curiosity ever since it rolled into production in October, Thalapathy 64, Vijay’s next is being directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. Speculated to be an intense and gritty action thriller on the lines of Lokesh Kanagaraj’s previous two films, Maanagaram and Kaithi, the upcoming Thalapathy 64 has an additional major highlight in the form of 'Makkal Selvan' Vijay Sethupathi, who is starring alongside yet another superstar with a massive fan following as Vijay after headlining the second lead role in Rajinikanth's Petta, earlier this year.

So far, two important schedules on Thalapathy 64 have been wrapped up with the third leg of filming currently taking place at Shimoga in Karnataka with Vijay and a host of supporting artists as well participating. Now, it has been revealed that Vijay Sethupathi has already finished his initial portions and will be joining the Thalapathy 64 team for the next schedule in Chennai, which is expected to begin on January 2, 2020.

Announced to come out in theatres as a summer 2020 release, Thalapathy 64 being produced by Vijay's close relative, Xavier Britto, under the XB Film Creators banner and featuring music by Anirudh Ravichander also includes in its huge star cast notable names like Malavika Mohanan as the female lead followed by Kaithi villain Arjun Das, Shanthanu Bhagyaraj, 96 fame Gouri Kishan in major starring roles.
