Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna teamed up for the second time for Dear Comrade. Their first association Geetha Govindam was extremely successful whereas the second film opened to mixed reviews but didn’t mint as much money the producers would have wanted. The film had a good opening weekend collecting over 30 crores from its first three days. Dear Comrade is directed by Bharat Kamma and produced by Mythri Movie Makers and Yash Rangineni.

It was also dubbed and released in languages like Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada while the Hindi version has been sold for a whopping price by Karan Johar. The film initially planned to be remade in Hindi but due to the film’s poor performance at the box office, the dubbed version of Dear Comrade was released YouTube by Goldmines Telefilms. After 2 months of release on YouTube the Hindi version of Dear Comrade has crossed 100 million views which is a rare feat for a south Indian film.
