Directors Venkat Prabhu, Pa Ranjith, M Rajesh, and Chimbu Deven have come together to make an anthology film titled Victims and it is all set to have a direct OTT release on the Sony Liv platform. The trailer of the anthology was released this morning (July 19) and it looks highly promising. It looks like an intense and serious collection of stories is on its way. Netflix had produced Paava Kadhaigal, a series that dealt with stories about sin and Victims also seems to have taken up one such socially important issue. Pa Ranjith is known for his socially political and intense films, but the other three filmmakers are mostly comedy-driven and it is going to be exciting to see how they have approached their respective stories.
The trailer manages to hold our attention and the suspense is maintained throughout. Through the trailer, the makers have officially announced the release plans of the anthology. Victims will officially stream on the Sony Liv platform from August 5 and we are around two weeks away from witnessing this one. The anthology features an ensemble star cast that includes the likes of Nasser, Thambi Ramaiah, Natraj ( Natty ), Priya Bavani Shankar, Kalaiyarasan, Guru Somasundaram, Prasanna, Amala Paul, Krish and others.
Produced by G Dilli Babu under the banner of Axess Film Factory in association with Venkat Prabhu's Black Ticket Company, the anthology has music composed by Sam CS, Premgi Amaren, Ganesh Sekar, and Tenma. R Saravanan, Sakthi Saravanan, and Thamizh A Azhagan are the cinematographers of this anthology while the four editors include Lawrence Kishore, Akash Thomas, Selva RK, and Venkat Raajen.
