Varalaxmi Sarathkumar to stage musical

Here is the next star kid on the block who is ready to strike it big. After Soundarya Rajinikanth and�Shruthi Haasan, it is now the turn of Varalaxmi Sarathkumar to prove her talent!

She has already signed up for a film titled Poda Podi opposite Simbhu, and is a successful businesswoman too. She is all set to stage her musical show 'Mamma Mia' and is doing her best to promote theatrical performances. 'Mamma Mia', choreographed by Jeffery Vardon, is directed by legendary theatre artiste and director Mithran Devanesan.

The musical show will have all the famous songs from ABBA and will take place in the first week of July.

Varalaxmi had completed her Bachelors in Microbiology from the University of Madras and went on to pursue her MBA from Edinburgh University in UK. Later, she returned to Chennai, soon realized that she wanted to be an actress and enrolled for an acting course at the Anupam Kher School of Acting, Mumbai.

Apart from the above, she is also an excellent dancer and has done Bharatanatyam, Ballet, Jazz, Hiphop and has been a part of the Hot Shoe Dance Company for almost eight years.
