The entire country is experiencing a 21-day lockdown, following the Indian Government's measures to control the spread of the COVID-19 Novel Corona Virus. This has helped in curbing the rampant spread of the Virus but it has brought life to a standstill on all fronts. With an almost curfew like effect, this lockdown period has brought about social distancing and self isolation amongst the people. However, a lot of day-to-day things have been disrupted and most people are waiting for a chance to resume their normal lives. In a latest development, we hear that the Tamil Nadu Government would be taking a decision on whether to continue the lockdown or not, tomorrow.

An announcement over whether the lockdown would continue or if normalcy would return, will be made by the TN Government, tomorrow (April 9th). This news comes from Dr. Beela Rajesh, the Secretary of Health & Family Welfare, of Tamil Nadu. Dr. Beela has been at the forefront, along with quite a few others, in tackling the spread of the Corona Virus and also ensuring steps to prevent its spread. However, going by the already rapid spread of the Virus in Tamil Nadu, it would be fair to assume that the lockdown would most probably be extended. Stay tuned for updates...
