‘Thalapathy’ Vijay’s Bigil has been one of the most awaited films among the superstar’s hardcore fans ever since the project went on floors earlier this year. Produced under the AGS Entertainment banner, the action sports drama hitting screens worldwide tomorrow (25.10.2019) marks the third-time reunion for Vijay with director Atlee after their previous blockbusters, Theri and Mersal, and features Academy Award-winning composer A. R. Rahman’s chartbuster songs. Coming out as a massive Diwali treat, Bigil has now achieved a unique distinction of becoming the first ever Tamil film to be screened in the IMAX format in India with the screening in Chennai to take place in the Palazzo IMAX screen.

Bigil’s release in the IMAX format will no doubt leave Vijay’s fans mighty happy, who will now get to experience watching the superstar in a larger than life format. Vijay will be seen in dual roles as father and son and, also as the coach of a women’s football team with fans expecting to witness him show his skills as an ace footballer. The actor had teased plenty with his football skills in the action-packed Bigil trailer, which was released recently to a rousing reception.
