'Thalapathy' Vijay's birthday is now upon us and the superstar has turned 47 this year, with massive celebrations already underway over the past few hours as the title to his upcoming film was revealed on Monday evening to be BEAST. Announced by Sun Pictures last year under the tentative title Thalapathy 65, the mass action film being directed by Nelson Dilipkumar had a powerful first look poster released yesterday evening, which has since received a thunderous response from fans and celebrities in the Tamil film industry. Not wanting to leave fans high and dry with just the first look poster, Sun Pictures had also in a surprise announcement yesterday informed that the Beast second look poster will be released as the clock strikes the midnight hour to ring in the celebrations for Vijay's birthday. And, behold - the much-awaited Beast second look poster is here and has the combo of swag and mass written all over it. Check it out below:

Beast marks the first-time association for Vijay with Nelson Dilipkumar, with many fans giving a double thumbs-up for the makers to rope in the young filmmaker, who earlier impressed with his Kolamaavu Kokila and is currently awaiting the release of the Sivakarthikeyan-starrer, Doctor. Post the staggering box office success of Master earlier this year, fans were mighty happy with Vijay to rope in a young director like Lokesh Kanagaraj and once again acknowledged the decision to go with another rising talent in the form of Nelson Dilipkumar for Beast

Vijay will be looking to knock it out of the park once again with Beast considering he has been tasting massive successes over the past few years, while also time and again going on to prove himself to be a box office juggernaut. The inclusion of 'Rockstar' Anirudh Ravichander is another major positive for the film as the hit composer has seen major triumph on both the previous occasions he teamed up with Vijay namely in Kaththi and Master. Likewise, Beast will also include an additional USP factor in the form of South Indian sensation Pooja Hegde, who is set for a huge Tamil cinema comeback after her debut in 2012 in director Mysskin's Mugamoodi
