Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput died by suicide on June 14 and even after 4 days since his death, people haven’t stopped talking about him or his journey. The death news came as an absolute shocker for the entire nation. Unable to accept the reality and move on, fans and celebrities have been sharing some of the memorable moments that they shared with Sushant on social media and we’ve been noticing many posts. On that note, popular writer and director Anand Gandhi (Ship of Theseus, Tumbbad fame), took to his Instagram space to share an emotional note about his memories with Sushant.

He also said that it feels bad to see no change in Sushant’s last seen time on Whatsapp. According to Anand, Sushant was last seen at 9.15 AM on Sunday morning, a few hours before taking the extreme step. On his Instagram page, Anand Gandhi wrote, “Sushant. “Last seen Sun at 9:15 AM.” His unchanging Whatsapp status still declares on my phone - an epitaph etched onto a binary stone - more tenacious than granite, as fragile as memory. “Time is but a stubborn illusion, brother.”

He would have invoked his relativist hero, part in jest, part in romance, just to inspire an argument from me. “You don’t actually buy into unprovable useless mumbo-jumbo like nth level simulation, do you?” I would have fallen for it.” Anand and Sushant shared a very sweet friendship and it is evident through the pictures and the videos that are shared by the talented filmmaker on social media. His smile would widen ear to ear and his eyes pierce through me as he would beam at me. “No.” Gotcha! “Par dil ko khush rakhne ko Ghalib yeh khayal acchha hai (But it’s a pleasant idea to cheer the heart.)” (Running out of space here - read the entire text in my stories). #sushantsinghrajput #sushantsingh #sushant #eulogy #death #life #meaning
