A film that set Suriya fans everywhere talking right from its announcement in early 2018, Kaappaan, directed by KV Anand under the Lyca Productions banner was released in theatres on September 20. An action thriller, Kaappaan had many big factors riding in favor of it among which included a huge production followed by some of the biggest stars from South India and chartbuster music by composer Harris Jayaraj. With the film running in theatres, promotions are still being carried out at an active pace with the makers now releasing a Kaappaan deleted scene special video featuring footage that has never before been seen.

Prior to the release of the Kaappaan deleted scene video, the ‘Siriki’ song was unveiled last week online with the response being largely positive among fans. Apart from Suriya, Kaappaan includes a multi-star cast with names like Sayyeshaa as the female lead followed by Mohanlal, Arya, Samuthirakani, Shamna Kasim in supporting roles and Boman Irani and Chirag Jani playing the antagonist. This is the third time Suriya, KV Anand and Harris Jayaraj are coming back for a film after their previous ventures, Ayan and Maattrraan.
