SJ Surya was last seen in the comedy drama, Monster, which got a very good reception at the theatres with the support of the family audience and kids. His next release would be Bommai, which is directed by Radha Mohan who is known for his breezy entertainers like Mozhi, Abhiyum Naanum, Kaatrin Mozhi, etc. The latest update is that the complete shooting of Bommai has been wrapped up and the team will focus on the post-production works, next. SJ Surya took to his official Twitter space to share this update and he also informed his fans that the teaser and audio release updates will follow suit.

Bommai features Priya Bhavanishankar as the female lead and this is her second film with SJ Surya after Monster. With music scored by Yuvan Shankar Raja, this film is produced by SJ Surya under his banner of Angel Studios MH LLP. According to reports online, this musical romantic film is scheduled for a theatrical release in May and we will get more clarity about it in the days to come.
