Costume designer Harikesh who has worked in quite a few notable Tamil films passed away recently due to a cardiac arrest. Harikesh was a part of Sivakarthikeyan's upcoming Tamil film, Don and he worked in the costume department, headed by Anu Parthasarathy, who is the costume designer for the movie. Anu Parthasarathy took to her official Twitter page to share the news about Harikesh's unfortunate demise. Anu mentioned that the entire team of Don would Harikesh and she also expressed her heartfelt condolences. Sharing his pictures, costume designer Anu Parthasarathy wrote, "#RIP Designer Harikesh wonderful person we will miss u Condolences from the entire #DON Team @Siva_Kartikeyan @Dir_Cibi @KalaiArasu_ @iam_SJSuryah".

Don is Sivakarthikeyan's upcoming film in Tamil cinema and it is directed by debutant, Cibi Chakaravarthi, a former associate of director Atlee. Don features SJ Suryah as the antagonist and Doctor fame Priyanka Arul Mohan as the female lead. Cook with Comali sensation Sivaangi will be making her debut as an actor with this movie which also has Soori, Samuthirakani, Munishkanth Ramadoss, Balasaravanan, in supporting roles.

Produced by Lyca Productions in association with Sivakarthikeyan Productions, the film has music scored by Anirudh Ravichander. Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithaal fame cinematographer KM Bhaskaran will be handling the movie's visuals. The first schedule of Don's shoot took place in Coimbatore with the main cast and crew. A few more schedules are said to be in plan and the shoot dates will be finalized when the Covid 19 situation gets better in the country. Don is touted to be a youthful romantic comedy entertainer that will feature SK in the role of a college student for the first time.
