Silambarasan TR’s next Tamil film, Eeswaran is all set to be released in theatres across the state on January 14 and the fans are eagerly looking forward to the d-day. Eeswaran, which is touted to be an action-packed family entertainer is directed by Susienthiran and has music scored by Thaman S. The fans are highly excited to see their favourite star back on the big screen after a gap of close to two years, his last release being Vantha Rajavathaan Varuven. Meanwhile, there is one more reason for the fans to celebrate on January 14. Yes! While Eeswaran will release in theatres amidst good expectations, there will be a new release on digital media, as well.

The official motion poster of Simbu’s upcoming political drama, Maanaadu is all set to be released on January 14. The motion poster will be released on the said date at 4.05 PM on YouTube and it has come as a major delight for the fans. Maanaadu has been a film that has managed to excite the fans ever since its announcement and it is expected to showcase Simbu in a never before seen dimension. The film’s producer Suresh Kamatchi made this new announcement on his Twitter page. The motion poster will give us an introduction to the lead character, Abdul Khaaliq, played by Silambarasan TR.

The teaser of Maanaadu is scheduled to be released for Simbu’s birthday in February. Maanaadu has music scored by Yuvan Shankar Raja who has got a super track record with both, Simbu and director Venkat Prabhu. The film’s cinematography, and editing departments are handled by Richard M Nathan and Praveen KL respectively. The makers had recently wrapped up a long schedule in Pondicherry with Simbu and the rest of the cast. Further schedules are expected to be planned in the coming days. Maanaadu will have SJ Surya playing the baddie and it is going to be exciting to see the Simbu - SJ Surya faceoff on the big screen.

Apart from STR and SJ Surya, the film’s star cast also includes Kalyani Priyadarshan, Bharathiraja, SA Chandrasekhar, Premgi Amaran, Karunakaran, Manoj Bharathiraja, Daniel Annie Pope, and others. With exciting announcements, updates, and releases lined up in the coming weeks, we are sure that Simbu fans must be in a joyful mode.
