It is well-known that Thalapathy Vijay' and Vijay Sethupathi are busy shooting for their upcoming film Master. Recently, the team was at a location in the Shimoga (Shivamogga) district of Karnataka to can an important portion from the film. There have been reports that the unit is filming in a jail but we have gotten to know that instead of a regular jail, the location is being used as a Juvenile Detention Centre by the Master team. Vijay is not a part of the current schedule and only scenes involving Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi are being canned. Both Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi will have their combination scene in the next week of January as confirmed by Lokesh Kannagaraj.

Fans are eagerly waiting to see this much-awaited biggie which will hit the screen this April. Apart from Vijay and Vijay Sethupathi, this Lokesh Kanagaraj directorial also stars Malavika Mohanan, Andrea Jeremiah, Shanthnu, Sriman, Arjun Das and a number of other popular stars. Rockstar Anirudh has been tasked with scoring the music for this movie, which is being made under the XB Film Creators banner. It was also announced that Lalit Kumar and Jagdish Palanisamy will be co-producers for this projects. Now it is revealed that Lalit Kumar's Seven Screen Studio has acquired the theatrical rights of Master with a new poster. The poster confirms that Master will release in the month of April.
