Marking the special occasion, Vijay Antony announced his next film - Pichaikkaran 2 and the first look poster was also released. This sequel film will be directed by Priya Krishnaswamy of Baaram fame and the shooting will begin post the pandemic. The news has got a good reception from the fans. Vijay Antony is already committed to doing a film with director Balaji K Kumar who made an impressive debut with the critically acclaimed film, Vidiyum Munn. It has now been officially revealed that actress Ritika Singh will be seen as the female lead in this film. The Irudhi Suttru actress shared this good news on her Twitter page and it has made the fans look forward to something interesting. This film will be produced by Infiniti Film Ventures, in association with Lotus Pictures and Table Profit.

We see Vijay Antony wearing a hat and it looks like his character will have a lot of style quotient. Ritika Singh was last seen in the superhit romantic drama, Oh My Kadavule, in which her performance as Anu (aka Noodles Manda) earned positive reviews from the fans.
