Yesterday, on 14 June 2020, Sushant Singh Rajput, aged 34, was found dead hanging from the ceiling fan in his home in Bandra, Mumbai. He had reportedly been suffering from depression for about six months. However, no suicide note has been found. According to the Mumbai Police IPS officer Vinay Chaubey, some medical prescriptions and medical reports were found in Sushant's room and the investigation is underway. His family suspect foul play in the death of the actor but no evidence has thus far been proved to support their argument. His funeral will take place today evening at Pawan Hans Crematorium, Mumbai.  

His body was taken to Cooper Hospital yesterday for Port-mortem and it was kept there till today evening. Sushant’s family members and friends were allowed to watch his body. Reports suggest that only one person from the film industry had visited the Cooper hospital to see Sushant one last time and that happens to be actress Rhea Chakraborty. It must be noted that Rhea and Sushant were rumoured to be dating. Neither Rhea nor Sushant ever confirmed their relationship status. They were often seen on dinner dates and even went on holidays together. The actress has not yet made any tweet or note regarding Sushant’s death so far but she was spotted at Cooper hospital today evening wearing a mask.
