Yash starrer KGF: Chapter 1 turned out to be a blockbuster hit in all the languages and the fans are now eagerly waiting for the second installment. This sequel will focus on Rocky Bhai’s journey to build an empire at KGF. Directed by Prashanth Neel, KGF: Chapter 2 features Srinidhi Shetty, Malavika Avinash and Ananth Nag in important roles. The new addition to the KGF franchise happens to be Sanjay Dutt and Raveena Tandon who are going to be the major attractions in the second part. While Sanjay Dutt as ‘Adheera’ will be the main antagonist of the film, Raveena Tandon will be seen playing the role of Ramika Sen, Indian Prime Minister.

However, the fans do not know much about her role and the makers have kept it under wraps. Having said that, Raveena Tandon has revealed some interesting details about her character and we are sure it is going to excite the fans. Talking to Mumbai Mirror, Raveena Tandon said, “I am playing a politician, a strong character. She is the hero as well as the villain of the film, with a very interesting story arc.” Going by this, it looks like Raveena’s character will have great significance to the core plot of the movie.

Currently, the makers are focussing on the post-production works due to the lockdown restrictions and we can expect the shooting to resume as soon as the permission is granted by the Government. Only after the completion of the shooting, the film’s release date will be confirmed. As of now, the film is scheduled to release on October 23, but looking at the current pandemic situation, the plan looks unlikely to happen. Produced by Hombale Films, KGF: Chapter 2 will have music scored by Ravi Basrur who delivered some pulsating and energetic background music in the first part. His music played an integral part in elevating the mass screen presence of Rocky Bhai and we can expect the magic to be repeated in the second part as well. The film has cinematography by Bhuvan Gowda.

While KGF: Chapter 2 will be shot in Kannada, it will be dubbed and released in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Malayalam languages. The Tamil dubbed version of KGF has a special fan base and having said that, we can expect KGF 2 to garner a lot of attention in Tamil Nadu during the time of the film’s release.
