Rashmika Mandanna is one of the most sought after actors in South India and she owns a humongous fan base, majorly comprising youngsters. Rashmika, who made a very impressive debut with Rakshit Shetty's Kirik Party, rose to fame with her performance and attractive screen presence in Vijay Deverakonda's blockbuster Telugu film, Geetha Govindam. Recently, Rashmika interacted with her fans and followers on Instagram to kill time during this quarantine period and she was posed with various interesting questions.

One of the fans asked Rashmika when she would act in a Tamil film. To that, Rashmika replied, "Aye! I already did a Tamil film. Well it still hasn’t released, but I hope it releases sometime this year or next. Depending on the corona situation.". It can be noted that her Tamil debut film would be Sultan, starring Karthi in the lead role. This romantic action drama is directed by Bakkiyaraj Kannan of Remo fame and produced by S.R.Prabhu's Dream Warrior Pictures.

As Rashmika said, we have to wait for a few more weeks to know about the release plans of Sultan. The film has been in the making for quite some time as Karthi is busily committed with other big projects as well. This movie will have music scored by Vivek - Mervin, cinematography by Kaithi and Master fame Sathyan Sooryan and editing by Ruben. Let us hope Rashmika scores big in her Kollywood debut.
