Superstar Rajinikanth finishes shoot for special episode of Into the Wild with Bear Grylls!
Anything and everything that Superstar Rajinikanth does, turns into spectacular news! He is currently working on his next movie - Thalaivar 168, with director Siruthai Siva. He has now hit the headlines for a different shoot, altogether! Taking some time off from his movie's shoot, Rajni has now shot for a special episode of Into the Wild with the famous British adventurer and TV show host - Bear Grylls! Last year, the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi became the first Indian celebrity to shoot with Bear Grylls and now Superstar Rajinikanth has become the second Indian on the show!
Rajinikanth and Bear Grylls shot for this special episode at the Bandipur Tiger Reserve and National Park, in Karnataka. The team is said to have shot in difficult terrain inside the forests, for about five hours. The Discovery Channel team had obtained permission to shoot inside the reserve for about 4 days and Rajni's portions were shot in a single day! Some reports set off panic amongst Rajinikanth's fans, stating that he had gotten injured during this shoot. However, it has now been clarified that the Superstar just received some minor scratches from thorns in the forest.
Photos and videos of Rajinikanth and Bear Grylls arriving at the location, as well as at the Mysore airport have been going viral on the internet! Talking about this, Bear Grylls took to hi Twitter page to upload a post and state that Rajinikanth is making his TV debut on their new show Into The Wild With Bear Grylls. He also mentioned that the show with Narendra Modi helped create a bit of TV history with that special show garnering 3.6 billion impressions! He also shared a photo of himself with Superstar Rajinikanth, inside the forest!
