Superstar Rajinikanth's Darbar is gearing up for its theatrical release on January 9, 2020 for the festive occasion of Pongal. The team is right now basking on the blockbuster success of the film's first single, Chumma Kizhi, composed by Anirudh Ravichander and crooned by S.P.Balasubrahmanyam. The film's audio launch is expected to happen in a grand manner on the 7th of December (Saturday). Meanwhile, it has now been revealed that three transwomen, Chandramukhi, Rachana Mudraboina, and Priya Murthi have crooned their voice for a song in Darbar.
Yes, as per the reports, there seems to be a portion in Darbar that will feature a dance performance of the transgender community. Anirudh wanted to make it real and authentic and decided to bring in transwomen to croon the song. Chandramukhi, Rachana and Priya are trained classical singers who are part of a musical band called Spicy Girls.
This song will have lyrics penned by VIvek. More details about this song is awaited. Directed by A.R.Murugadoss and produced by Lyca, Darbar's star cast includes Rajinikanth, Nayanthara, Suniel Shetty, Prateik Babbar, Nivetha Thomas, Yogi Babu, and others. The film has cinematography by Santosh Sivan and editing by Sreekar Prasad.
