Chithi is an iconic serial that can never be forgotten by the people of Tamil Nadu. The serial also made Radikaa Sarathkumar, a superstar in the television arena and she earned a huge fan following through the same. Chithi was aired between December 1999 and November 2001. Directed by C.J.Baskar, Chithi featured Radikaa Sarathkumar in dual roles as Saradha and Sakthi. After a long gap of 19 years, the sequel to Chithi is being made and it is all set to premiere on Sun TV from January 27. Radikaa had recently shared the first look poster and a teaser of the serial and it opened to a fairly positive response.

The promo brought back the nostalgic memories of the 90s kids and it was interesting to hear the ‘Kannin Mani’ song once again. Radikaa is also back to Sun TV serials after a hiatus and Chithi 2 is expected to put her back into form. Chithi 2’s star cast includes Ponvannan, Shilpa, Mahalakshmi, and others. Starting from January 27, the serial will premiere everyday (Monday - Saturday) at 9 PM.

The makers have now released a new promo and this one looks quite interesting. We see a glimpse of Radikaa’s happy and lighter moments with her family. From the promo, we notice that Ponvannan plays Radikaa’s husband in the serial. The promo has been released on the official YouTube channel of Sun TV.
