Actor Prithviraj Sukumaran has been enchanting Malayalam cinema fans with his performances for nearly two decades and was last seen in the blockbuster, Ayyappanum Koshiyum. Released earlier this year before the nationwide lockdown, the action thriller turned out to be a commercial and a critical success, with the film also garnering appreciation from fans in Tamil Nadu as well. Prithviraj, who made his directorial debut last year with the mass action film Lucifer, starring National Award winner and veteran superstar Mohanlal, has resumed shooting for his upcoming film, Jana Gana Mana, under Dijo Jose Antony's direction.

Prithviraj, who has starred in Telugu and Hindi, made heads turn among Tamil cinema fans as well in films such as Kana Kandaen, Mozhi, Satham Podathey, Abhiyum Naanum, Raavanan and Kavya Thalaivan to name a notable few. Having said that, the three-time Kerala State Best Actor Award winner took to his Instagram page late Monday evening to repost his wife, Supriya's post in regard to a fake account created in the name of his daughter, Alankrita. Lovingly called as Ally by Prithviraj and Supriya, the actor alerted fans with a screenshot of the fake account and wrote, "Just wanted to bring your attention to this fake handle. This is not a page managed by us and neither do we see the need for our 6 year old to have a social media presence." He added, "Once she’s older she can decide for herself about the same. So please don’t fall prey to this! #FakeHandle #Shameful #LetKidsBeKids and #ReportThisHandle". Check out the post below:

With a number of commitments ahead, Prithviraj recovered recently after testing negative for COVID-19. He had revealed last month that he was asymptomatic and had gone into isolation. Prior to testing positive for coronavirus, the reputed actor along with the crew of his upcoming ambitious survival drama film, Aadujeevitham, also starring Amala Paul, had been shooting in Jordan when countries began going into lockdown to control the spread of the infection. As a result, the entire team, which also included director Blessy, remained in the Middle Eastern country as international flights had been suspended at the time. Prithviraj, who will also be returning to direct the Lucifer sequel, L2: Empuraan, with Mohanlal in the lead role once again, is also a part of the Cold Case, for which he is yet to begin filming. He is also expected to kickstart a project with Kammara Sambhavam fame Rathish Ambat.
