Nivin Pauly has officially announced the release plans of his next movie, Mahaveeryar and the update has made the fans look forward to watching the film. The film has been officially confirmed to hit the screens on July 21 and it will have a grand release across cinemas. Nivin made the announcement through a tweet which read, "#Mahaveeryar releasing worldwide in theatres near you on July 21, 2022. 📽️ 🎞️ 🤩 🤩". With around 40 more days for the film's release, we can expect the makers to kickstart the promotions very soon.

Mahaveeryar is an upcoming Malayalam fantasy drama directed by Abrid Shine, best known for directing films like 83 and Action Hero Biju, apart from other movies like Poomaram and The Kung Fu Master. The teaser of the film that released a few months back had garnered wide attention on social media, piquing the curiosity of the film buffs. Nivin Pauly's makeover looked intriguing and it is surely going to be one of the USPs of the film. The teaser showed us that the story takes place in multiple timelines, keeping the suspense intact.

Produced by Nivin Pauly under the banner of Pauly Jr Pictures in association with Indian Movie Makers, the film has music composed by Ishaan Chhabra. M Mukundan has penned the story of this film that has art direction by Anees Nadodi. Chandru Selvaraj has handled the cinematography while Manoj has edited the movie. Apart from Nivin Pauly, the film has several other prominent actors in crucial roles, including the likes of Asif Ali, Siddique, Lal, Lalu Alex, Shanvi Sreevastava and others.

In Tamil, Nivin Pauly will be seen acting in acclaimed director Ram's next film which is yet to be titled. The film features Anjali as the female lead and has Soori playing a pivotal role. The shooting of this flick is completed and the post-production works are happening in full swing. Maanaadu producer Suresh Kamatchi has bankrolled this venture.
