Nayanthara has already had 6 releases so far this year and the highly anticipated Bigil will be her 7th release. This Atlee directed Thalapathy Vijay starrer is scheduled to hit the screens on October 25th amidst sky rocketing expectations from the fans and general audience. She also recently started to shoot for her next film, Nettrikann, directed by Milind Rau of Aval fame. This mystery thriller is produced by director Vignesh Shivn under his Rowdy Pictures banner. While the shooting of Nettrikann is progressing at a brisk pace, we hear a new development on Nayanthara's next project.

We are informed by our reliable close sources that Nayan has been signed by Screen Scene Media Entertainment, who have bagged the Tamil Nadu distribution rights of Vijay's Bigil. This new project will apparently be directed by Gautham Ramachandran who made his debut with Nivin Pauly's Richie in Tamil. This new project sounds quite interesting and we will get to know more details about this one in the coming days. Stay tuned.
