Sun Pictures has tasted massive success yet again with their fourth production venture, Namma Veettu Pillai, released recently and has also gone on to receive critical acclaim. Starring Sivakarthikeyan in the lead role, Aishwarya Rajesh plays his sibling while Malayalam actress Anu Emmanuel was cast as the female lead with the rural family drama being directed by Pandiraj. With the film running successfully in theatres now, Sun Pictures has released the Namma Veettu Pillai deleted scenes video, which gives us glimpses at what was skipped in the final cut of the released version. Namma Veettu Pillai is Sun Pictures' fourth straight box office victory after their 'Superstar' Rajinikanth starrers, Enthiran and Petta and the action political drama, Sarkar, featuring Thalapathy' Vijay in the lead role. NVP has also come out as a much-needed triumph for Sivakarthikeyan after his Seema Raja and Mr. Local didn't perform as well as he would have expected. 

A multi-starrer, Namma Veettu Pillai also features veteran filmmaker Bharathiraja, Samuthirakani, cinematographer turned actor Natarajan Subramaniam, RK Suresh, comedians Yogi Babu and Soori in vital roles. The film’s songs composed by D. Imman have turned out to be chartbusters and have been topping the charts since the album was released not long back.
