Meera Chopra gets gangrape threats for not knowing a South Indian Superstar

Actress Meera Chopra who is known as Nila in Tamil cinema happens to be a cousin to Priyanka Chopra made her film debut with SJ Suryah’s Tamil film Anbe Aaruyire. The film gave her the perfect start which led her to act in Powerstar Pawan Kalyan’s Telugu film Bangaram. She then acted in a few Tamil and Telugu films, none of them managed to be as successful as her debut film. But after all these years, Meera Chopra has now made the headlines in the South India film industry. During a recent interactive session with her fans on Twitter, Meera Chopra said she doesn't know who Jr NTR is and she prefers Mahesh Babu to be her favourite star from Tollywood. This tweet of her didn’t go well with Jr NTR fans who started abusing her.  
 
Meera Chopra then posted a series of tweet condemning the actions of NTR fans. Here are some of her tweets - “@tarak9999 i didnt kno that ill be called a bitch, whore and a pornstar, just bcoz i like @urstrulyMahesh more then you. And your fans will send my parents such wishes. Do u feel successful with such a fan following? And i hope u dont ignore my tweet!!  
 
They are talking abt gang banging, are abusive and death threatning. Unfortunately they are all @tarak9999 fanclubs. @Twitter i would request you to look into it and suspend these accounts.Well i didnt know not being somebodys fan was a crime.. i want to say this loud to all the girls that if you are not a fan of @tarak9999, u could be raped, murdered, gangraped, ur parents could be killed as tweeted by his fans. They r totally spoiling the name of their idol. I have all respect for him (Jr NTR) as an actor. The only reason iam tagging him is bcoz he should know how his fans behave. And its his responsibility to address them and ask them to refrain from such hooligism.”
