The hype is getting bigger as the release date for 'Thalapathy' Vijay's highly-anticipated mass masala action entertainer Master is now less than 5 days away. As the excitement continues to get bigger for director Lokesh Kanagaraj's Master, which also includes 'Makkal Selvan' Vijay Sethupathi as the antagonist, popular actor Kalidas Jayaram has now shared a photo with Vijay he had taken sometime back. Vijay is said to have praised Kalidas during their meeting for his performance in the Netflix anthology, Paava Kadhaigal, in which he starred as the character Sathar in the Thangam segment directed by Sudha Kongara. He tweeted the pic with the caption, "Just when u thought things cudnt get any better. #master meets #student. Thank you Vijay sir for taking the time and effort, means a lot". Son of the popular Malayalam hero Jayaram, Kalidas Jayaram debuted in Tamil cinema in 2016's Meen Kuzhambum Mann Paanaiyum. Kalidas had an eventful 2020 as he was first seen in Netflix's Tamil anthology film, Putham Pudhu Kaalai, in the Ilamai Idho Idho segment opposite Kalyani Priyadarshan, which as well was directed by Sudha Kongara. His performance fetched him praises from critics, whose long-delayed Oru Pakka Kathai skipped its theatrical release and premiered on the ZEE5 OTT platform., which as well has received a largely positive response from fans. 

All set to be next seen in the Santosh Sivan directorial Jack and Jill in Malayalam alongside Asuran actress Manju Warrier, Kalidas is now basking in the glory of acclaim coming his way after his sensational performance as Sathar in the Thangam segment in Netflix's Paava Kadhaigal. He came out on top on the emotional story set in the 1980s, which also included Shanthanu Bhagyaraj and GV Prakash Kumar's sister Bhavani Sre in the lead roles. 

As for Vijay, with his Master hitting theatres next week, the superstar will also be kicking off production on the recently-announced Thalapathy 65 under Nelson Dilipkumar's direction, who previously made Kolamaavu Kokila and the upcoming Doctor starring Sivakarthikeyan, which too wrapped up production last week. Being produced under the Sun Pictures banner, Thalapathy 65 will see Anirudh Ravichander scoring music for a Vijay film for the third time after Kaththi in 2014 and Master.
