A huge film in the making right from the moment of its announcement, Vijay's Master, touted to be a high octane action thriller kicked off production in October last year under Kaithi director Lokesh Kanaraj. Gearing up for a grand summer release in April, the film is being produced by Vijay's relative Xavier Britto under the XB Film Creators banner and will feature music by Anirudh Ravichander, who is scoring for a 'Thalapathy' film after the 2014 blockbuster, Kaththi.

With expectations for the film massive already, the Master first look featuring Vijay in an intoxicated state went viral with many declaring it to be one of the best posters for a film this year. That said, actress Malavika Mohanan, who plays the female lead in the film, has now taken to her social networking pages to release pictures of herself from a recent photo-shoot where she is seen striking various poses while recreating the spirit and ambience of the Master first look. Apart from 'Thalapathy' Vijay and Malavika Mohanan, Master includes 'Makkal Selvan' Vijay Sethupathi whose inclusion took the excitement for the project to sky-high levels. So far, two posters have been released for the film and both have featured Vijay with Vijay Sethupathi's look yet to be revealed, which when unveiled we can expect it to be the talk of the town as well.
