Popular director hospitalized | Reports say critically ill | Know the truth here

Earlier in the day, it was speculated that Telugu director Sanjana Reddy is critically ill and has been kept under ventilator support. Putting all the rumours to rest, producer Kona Venkat has now stated that Sanjana is just taking treatment for viral fever and her life is not in danger like speculated. “Our “Karanam Malleswari” Biopic director @sanjanareddyd is absolutely safe & sound and she would be home in a couple of days .. She’s being treated for Viral fever.. Please put an end to all the speculations.” 
 
Sanjana Reddy was hospitalized after she complained of breathlessness and high fever. The director has been admitted to a private hospital in Hyderabad. It was earlier reported that she fainted at her residence and was later rushed to a nearby hospital. Sanajana Reddy is a former associated of director Ram Gopal Varma, she started her film directorial career with a Telugu film called Raju Gadu, she is currently working on the biopic of Karnam Malleswari, the first Indian woman medalist at the Olympics. This biopic is produced by Kona Venkat who has now given a clarity on Sanjana’s health. The pre-production work for this biopic is underway the makers were in the plans to start shooting after the lockdown.
